The 2026-2027 Pre-season is underway! Until September 19, the Betclic ÉLITE and ÉLITE 2 clubs will play 150 friendly matches and tournaments to prepare for a new season that promises to be particularly intense. And this year again, the preparation will take on a truly international dimension.
Several French teams will head abroad: Paris will travel to Menorca before facing Zalgiris Kaunas in London and reuniting with Dustin Sleva, a historic player for Paris. Bourg-en-Bresse will play in Vilnius against Rytas in a duel between the EuroCup winner and the B League winner. C.L., while Tony Parker's ASVEL will participate in a tournament in Cagliari featuring Bayern Munich. Nanterre will head to Bonn, while other clubs will take advantage of their preparation to face opponents from Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, or Spain.
The appointments will also be numerous in France with several tournaments and confrontations between Betclic ÉLITE and ÉLITE 2 clubs. Thus, Paris will travel to Orléans at Co’Met, while Saint-Chamond-Andrézieux-Bouthéon will host its neighbor Lyon-Villeurbanne.
A particularly intense month of preparation, consisting of travels, initial full-scale tests, and opportunities to discover the new team members before the official season launch at the FULFIL Supercup on September 19 and 20 at Roland Garros.
Between August 19 and September 20, nearly 150 matches organized in France and abroad will be played by the 36 LNB clubs.
